All sales are final. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and personal checks. Please be sure to allow for three (3) business days for personal checks to clear before requesting delivery or pickup of merchandise. We also offer financing options. Please see your Sales Associate for details. Ruby-Gordon reserves the right, in extreme circumstances, for merchandise to be returned, exchanged or modified with the addition of a pickup fee, redelivery fee, and/or restocking fee up to 20%. Merchandise not in a “like new” condition, as well as defaced, abused, neglected, or similar merchandise may not be accepted for return or exchange. Some conditions that will prevent an item from being returned are, but not limited to, the following: smoke, pet hair, stains due to food, drink, pets, bodily fluids or any other substance.
We make every effort to ensure your experience purchasing from Ruby-Gordon is pleasant and satisfying. We not only cover any delivery or handling related damages, but all merchandise is warrantied against manufacturer’s defects for one full year from date of receipt. Warranties only cover defects in workmanship and construction that occur under normal use and care. Warranties do not cover wearability or merchandise subjected to misuse, negligence or accidents. Just notify us within five (5) days of noticing the issue to eliminate any misunderstanding. While in-home mishaps can cause scratches and tears that do not fall under the manufacturer warranty, our service department will be happy to advise you on how best to handle these problems. Most manufacturers do not give a warranty on their fabrics, but Ruby-Gordon will investigate any fabric-related problems within the first year.
Ruby-Gordon Furniture warrants the original buyer, that new merchandise shall be free of defects in material and/or workmanship as stipulated/determined by the manufacturer’s warranty of said product for one year. Under conditions of normal usage, we will conduct repairs on any manufacturing defect without any charge to the original purchaser for a one-year period from the date of possession of the purchase. This warranty only covers new products found at the original residence when it was purchased or delivered, and merchandise used under normal household conditions. In the event any defect is not repaired at the first attempted service, the buyer agrees to allow Ruby-Gordon Inc. additional attempts to cure the defects as may be fair and reasonable. If it is determined, that service cannot remedy a manufacturer defect, an exchange may be necessary. If the same item is not available, Ruby-Gordon will issue an in store credit towards new merchandise. Ruby-Gordon sales personnel, delivery personnel, and service technicians may not authorize any warranty service, exchange, or return.
Dye lots of fabrics that are on display merchandise and swatches may vary from the products actually delivered to the buyer. In addition, leather is natural material therefore surface blemishes/marks and color variances are natural characteristics to the material. Furthermore, the seats of new merchandise require going through a break in period to match the comfort of our floor model pieces.
Wood solids and veneers of the display merchandise will show unique variations in grain pattern and characteristics of specific species of wood. Variance of the buyer’s merchandise, and blemishes and imperfections are natural characteristics for wood surfaces and show the uniqueness of wood furniture.
Neither Ruby-Gordon, nor the manufacturer, is responsible for damage caused during transportation or delivery by the buyer, damage caused by repairs or attempted repairs not authorized by either Ruby-Gordon or the manufacturer, negligence, abuse, misuse, mistreatment (e.g. soiling or stains), accidents, any use for which the product was not designed, and/or improper maintenance, and cleaning or care of the product.
Merchandise sold at a reduced price, including but not limited to, clearance, floor samples and closeout merchandise is sold “as-is”. It is excluded from warranties, stated or implied. No exchange, refund or service is available. Product must be picked up or delivered within ten (10) days of purchase.
Deliveries are made Tuesdays through Saturdays starting at 8:00am. You are able to request next day delivery on stocked items up to 3pm the day before, some exclusions apply. Please verify with your Sales Associate for next day availability on product in your area. Delivery fees will be charged each time a truck delivers or picks up merchandise. In the case of a partial delivery due to product availability, the customer would not be charged extra for a second delivery. Delivery fees are non-refundable. Delivery includes preparation, assembly, and set up of merchandise to one address. Prior to scheduling delivery, a valid address must be provided with a driveway that is passable. Please remove old furniture and clear pathways to ensure unobstructed access for our delivery team. Our delivery teams are restricted from moving any electronic or existing furniture already in the home (upon request we will be happy to remove and dispose of old mattresses if in sanitary condition). Customer must arrange to be home or have a responsible adult (18 years or older) there to accept and sign for delivery. A delivery window will be assigned the day prior to delivery and we will attempt to contact you by phone to give the estimated delivery time. Special order merchandise is any merchandise which is not normally stocked by Ruby-Gordon. All special orders require a minimum of 50% non-refundable deposit. Due to the nature of special ordering, we cannot guarantee your specific arrival date. Special order items cannot be canceled for any reason.
At Ruby-Gordon your comfort is what is most important to us. That is why we offer our 100 Day BedMATCH Guarantee. With our BedMATCH Guarantee we let you take your newly purchased mattress for a “test drive.” If you are not completely satisfied with the comfort of your new mattress you may exchange it within 100 days of delivery. To qualify for the BedMATCH Guarantee, you must purchase a mattress protector from Ruby-Gordon, AND your mattress must be in the same support color or recommendation as provided by our BedMATCH support diagnostic system. The mattress must be kept for 7 days after date of delivery. If, after 7 days, you are not completely satisfied, you will have up to an additional 100 days (after your original delivery) to reselect a mattress. There is a limit of one mattress reselection per customer. Reselection may incur up to a $150 restocking fee. A replacement mattress must be of equal or greater value to the mattress being replaced. If the everyday selling price of the replacement mattress is greater than the original purchase price of the mattress being replaced, you are responsible for the difference plus applicable taxes. Law tags must be attached to the returned mattress, and the mattress must be in sanitary condition, clean with no rips, tears, burns or stains of any kind. Motorized foundations, clearance center merchandise, pillows, mattress protectors and bed frames cannot be replaced as part of this Guarantee.
At Ruby-Gordon we offer more than just furniture to make your house a home. We also offer hundreds of accessories to complete your room. We understand that it can be difficult to determine if a small addition to a room will look as great as you hope, so we offer our Got to Have It Got to Love It Guarantee on accessories. We give you 48 hours after pickup of an eligible accessory piece to decide if you truly love it. Accessory items include, but are not limited to, lamps, wall decor, and table top decorations. Please ask your Sales Associate for specific item details. Markdown, clearance, close out, reduced price, and special order accessories are excluded. All eligible orders will list the 48-hour time limit.
Merchandise pick-up is available Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 6:00pm. The warehouse is closed on Sundays. Merchandise that is picked up may be in cartons and require assembly. We will be pleased to assist you in loading your merchandise, however, it is your responsibility to properly load and secure your merchandise before leaving the dock. Customer signature on the pick-up ticket will verify acknowledgment of receipt of merchandise in good condition. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur after leaving our dock.
Protect your furniture investment against life’s everyday spills and accidental damages. Through this optional coverage, you get parts and labor (included from date of delivery), in-home service, no deductible coverage, and replacement if the affected item can’t be repaired. Ask your Sales Associate for complete coverage details. You can receive credit for the full cost of your protection plan. This Ruby-Gordon issued credit can be used towards your next purchase of a protection plan when exercised within the 12 months of the plan expiration date. Just present the original sales order receipt and we will apply the credit to your next protection plan purchase.
Didn’t add a furniture protection plan at time of purchase? It’s not too late. You can add a furniture protection plan to your purchase up until the furniture is delivered. It’s super easy. Just call the store and we can get you set up right over the phone.
